Bentley Unveils the Exclusive Mulliner GT Convertible Riviera Collection to Honor Yachting's Finest

Bentley Motors has introduced the beautiful Mulliner Riviera Collection to honour the refined world of sailing. Based on the driver-centric Continental GT Convertible, the ultimate embodiment of open-air grand touring, the Mulliner Riviera Collection is exclusive to Bentley Monaco, the epicentre of opulent Mediterranean yachting.

The meticulous craftsmanship of the Mulliner Riviera Collection emphasises the elite nature of the French Riviera, where the famed Monaco Yacht Show is held each year. This offers a selection of three distinct exterior palettes for Monegasque clients - Aegean Blue, Aquamarine, and Caribbean Blue - designed to reflect the hues of the Mediterranean Sea. The same painting is also applied to the Carbon Fiber Bodykit and the Spoiler for the trunk lid.

Mulliner Riviera Collection models feature sailing-inspired details such as marine knot logos on the headrests, Linen hide and Alcantara trim, and personalised Riviera Collection treadplate plaques inside the cabin of the Continental GT Convertible, which offers unrivalled levels of luxury and cutting-edge technology. Hide Riviera key covers, embroidered Riviera trim emblems, and a custom inside Color Split all contribute to the nautical motif.

The Mulliner Riviera Collection demonstrates that anything is possible for Bentley's most discriminating clients. The oldest coachbuilder in the world is located in Crewe, England, the home of Bentley, and today provides three degrees of workmanship. Curated by Mulliner are automobiles and options accessible through the Bentley Configurator. The origins of Mulliner may be traced back to the 1500s, when the English firm began producing elegant horse-drawn carriages. In 1923, Mulliner artisans worked on a Bentley chassis for the first time, hand-constructing the body for the 3 Litre model shown at the Olympia Motor Show in London.

In 1952, Mulliner created the body for one of the most famous Bentleys of all time. Today's Continental GT was inspired by the R-Type Continental. Five years later, the Continental Flying Spur, a customised four-door sedan based on the Bentley Continental chassis, was introduced. By 1959, Mulliner had become an official subsidiary of Bentley Motors, establishing its operations in Crewe.
