Luxottica distributes Ray-Ban and Oakley sunglasses as well as Arnette, Oliver Peoples, Linda Farrow Luxottica, Alain Mikli and Revision Eyewear. Luxottica owns 80% of Sunglass Hut. The Luxottica Group was created in 1961 by Leonardo Del Vecchio through the merger of his three Italian companies - Luxottica s.a.s., occhiali da vista (eyewear), Luxottica Milano, Luxottica Roma and Luxottica Firenze - started selling Luxottica brand products way back in 1967.
