This lavish event will feature Elliot Faber, a globally renowned Sake and Cocktails Master who bears the prestigious title of SAKE SAMURAI from the Japan Sake Brewers Association.

Elliot, the founding Beverage Director for the Michelin-starred Yardbird Hong Kong and RNIN restaurants, will be accompanied by Gormei, a Culinary Experiences Curator based in Hong Kong and Kolkata, for a meticulously curated Sake journey throughout India.

This extravagant event will begin on September 28, 2023, in the centre of Bengaluru, and promises to be an unforgettable experience for all attendees.

Celebrate the Art of Sake and Expert Mixology, Curated by Elliot Faber and Chef Noel Adrais, at IZU, which specialises in Japanese and Peruvian Cuisine.

The 'Samurai Spirits' commemorates the art of sake and expert mixology and promises an unforgettable journey of flavours and cultures, combining the vibrancy of Peruvian flavours with Japanese techniques to create a unique and immersive experience.

Faber will present an exclusive menu alongside Chef Noel Adrais, who has curated the perfect balance of Peruvian and Japanese flavours for the Nikkei menu. 

Chef Noel Adrais, a Master Chef with more than 20 years of experience working with the most renowned personalities who introduced Japanese cuisine to this region of the globe, complements the expert mixology abilities of Elliot Faber.

Chefs Noel Adrais and Elliot Faber have collaborated to create a culinary experience for you that will be unforgettable. While Chef Noel's artistic and contemporary interpretations of Japanese cuisine will leave you wanting more, Elliot Faber's handcrafted cocktails and sake pairings will perfectly complement these dishes and elevate your dining experience. 

During his forthcoming bar takeover at IZU, Elliot Faber will impress guests with an exquisite menu and immersive experience. In addition to demonstrating the versatility of Sake as an ingredient in high-quality concoctions, he will also present stand-alone beverages. There will be a total of eight Sake-based experiences showcasing the cultural fusion of Japan and Peru. In 2019, Elliot launched the retail/bar concept SAKETEN and in 2021, he opened AWA AWA - an Okinawa-based restaurant bar designed to introduce consumers to Awamori and the multi-national influences that make up Okinawa cuisine.

In 2022, Elliot supported the inauguration of MORI and other initiatives at Mandala Club in Singapore, and in early 2023, he created a concept and beverage programme for Manifesto Market in Berlin, Germany.

Elliot will rejoin the Mandala on Tour team as Chief Curator in Niseko, Hokkaido, Japan, in December 2023. From the Japanese concept Mizumi at the WYNN hotel in Las Vegas to international events for brands such as Prada and Chloé, Elliot has sourced and serviced beverage experiences worldwide. His work includes private label and custom product collaborations with collaborators such as luxury retailer Lane Crawford and caviar purveyor NOMAD Caviar.
