New York City Penthouse Sold for Record Price by Patricia Vance of Elliman

The sale of the crown penthouse on the 20th floor of the Crown Building on Fifth Avenue is by far the greatest residential real estate transaction in 2022.

The record-breaking sale of Aman's Jala Penthouse on Fifth Avenue was brokered by Patricia Vance of Douglas Elliman, a celebrity in the real estate market. The deal was overseen by Aman's Global Director of Residences Amie Buchanan and arranged by Patricia Vance. This transaction is New York City's largest closed sale of 2022.

A private 4915 saltwater swimming pool, cabana, wraparound patio, and a private master bedroom balcony with a jacuzzi are all included in the Jala Penthouse, which is located on the whole 20th floor.

Herringbone-patterned flooring, custom-designed oiled walnut double doors, white oak wood plank floors, two glass-enclosed gas fireplaces, and 10'7" ceilings all make up the grand entry lobby. Views of the Upper East Side and Central Park to the north may be enjoyed from the spacious living and dining areas that are accessed from the beautiful gallery.

The kitchen by Minotti Cucine is outfitted with Gaggenau appliances and has a polished quartzite island and stone flooring. The adjacent service pantry may be accessed from the private elevator lobby.

The master bedroom boasts his and hers walk-in closets lined with leather panels and accented with brass hardware.
