Left Lane Acquires The Savannah Mansion On Forsyth Park, Georgia, United States

LEFT LANE Reveals Extensive, Multimillion-Dollar Renovation Plans for a Reimagined Hotel Property Set to Debut in 2024

SAVANNAH, GA – August 2022 – LEFT LANE, a New York-based hotel and real estate company specialising in the acquisition and transformation of hotels that share a common thread of textured histories and progressive cultural landscapes, recently acquired The Mansion on Forsyth Park, one of Savannah's most cherished and historic hotels. In June 2022, LEFT LANE bought the property for $52.5M.

This autumn, the historic property will undergo a gradual, multimillion-dollar repair, expansion, and premium rebranding, resulting in the premiere of a newly reimagined urban resort in the spring of 2024. In the spring of 2023, a new restaurant concept will debut inside the historic home on the property's lovely grounds. The original home, constructed in 1888 as a private residence for the Lewis Kayton family, now functions as the hotel's restaurant. In its cooking school, visitors may enhance their culinary abilities. The institution will continue to operate in the new urban resort.

The resort will have 149 guest rooms and a variety of different food & beverage concepts, including a main restaurant, club bar and lounge, pool restaurant and bar, lobby bar, as well as several event spaces, spa, retail, and more upon completion.

LEFT LANE is devoted to community participation via placemaking and adaptive reuse of renowned historic structures, according to LEFT LANE Managing Partner Jon Kully. "We specialise in the purchase and redevelopment of hotels that have a similar thread of complex histories and evolving cultural landscapes, and we look forward to preserving the property's rich history while introducing new experiences to the vibrant city of Savannah."

The original Mansion on Forsyth Park was constructed in 1888 and transformed into a hotel in 2005. The new Mansion on Forsyth Park will have a variety of facilities and unique programmes. From the guest rooms and culinary ideas to the pool experience and lifestyle programming, every aspect of the hotel will be meticulously examined and designed with LEFT LANE's unique commitment to warm, world-class service, outstanding design, and meticulous attention to detail.

In addition to completely redesigned interiors, a thoughtfully planned expansion, and new accommodations designed by LEFT LANE, guests will have access to special events, bespoke local shopping experiences, and signature retail offerings, allowing them to discover a cultural epicentre that seamlessly integrates into Savannah's rich and textured fabric.

The new Mansion on Forsyth Park will have a comprehensive wellness programme enhanced with exquisite and rejuvenating experiences suited to each individual visitor. Guests will be able to revitalise poolside, luxuriate in the spa, unwind in the privacy of their suites, and discover a variety of secret hideaways buried around the property.

The rebuilt facility will be anchored in Savannah's distinctive local culture and the free-spirited combination of classic and modern styles visible in the city's architecture and interiors, with a polished, but laid-back approach to premium service and hospitality.
