Ibiza's CAN Art Fair 2022 is Expected to Be Spectacular

CAN, Contemporary Art Now, is a curated and invitation-only art fair that aims to become an innovative platform for discovering the newest trends in contemporary creation from the Mediterranean island of Ibiza, emphasising new contemporary languages and leaving room for the proposals of established artists who have excelled in the recent past.

This summer, for five days, the island will become a gathering place for artists, art collectors, art fans, and cultural figures from across the world. In July, CAN will be a major art exhibition that will bring together more than thirty international galleries, mostly from Europe, America, and Asia, and showcase the work of more than one hundred artists.

Regarding the Curator
Sasa Bogojev is a freelance journalist and curator who has served as the European reporter for Juxtapoz magazine for many years. He has written to a number of international journals and media, cooperated with artists on monographs, books, and catalogues, and produced a number of international exhibits at art galleries.

"After years of being engaged in the art world, especially the figurative painting scene, I've seen that there is a developing network of artists, galleries, collectors, and appreciators that gravitates around certain international events. Thanks to the CAN team, we want to present this community with a new centre in one of Europe's most popular places, and to be able to choose and highlight its most intriguing parts in a casual and informal new setting ".
