Before New York Fashion Week 2023, designer Christopher Augmon is pleased to unveil a new collection of luxury footwear accessories: the CA Lace collection.

The collection includes over 23 luxury shoelaces in an array of vibrant colours, exotic materials, and artisanal finishes. 18% of proceeds from each sale will be donated to Equality Dream Team, a non-profit organisation whose mission is to "educate and provide tools to help underserved African American Youth achieve economic stability." 

Christopher Augmon's brand mission is to create fashion that inspires and gives back. Augmon says,

"I designed the CA Lace collection to provide footwear enthusiasts with more styling options, allowing them to put their most fashionable foot forward, while also leveraging these products and this charitable campaign to empower underserved youth through comprehensive career development."

Inspired CA Lace designs include Mamba python styles in Genesis Pink, Yellow, Orange, Carolina Blue, Black, and White; Italian Leather styles in green and grey camouflage; and custom laces in luxurious cotton with African or tie-dye prints. 

Includes Exotic Skins, Italian Leathers, and African Artisan Printed Cotton Patterns.

"CA Lace was inspired by my passion for high-end trainers, shoes and boots. I desired to add a new dimension of personality, customization, fashion, and style to my favourite luxury trainers and boots. These laces were designed to make a statement and can elevate the entire appearance of a shoe."

Explains Augmon.

"Whether carrying a colourful wallop in Genesis Pink, introducing a nuanced layer of texture in mamba python or Italian leather camouflage, or adopting the power of a vibrant print in luxurious cotton, these laces were created to make a statement."

The new collection complements and expands the designer's already vast assortment of fine jewellery, leather purses, and other soft goods and custom items. The launch of CA lace continues the designer's track record of utilising his design and production talents to benefit charitable causes. The previous 18K logo fine jewellery collection by Augman was also created with the intention of uplifting adolescents under the age of 18 in underserved communities.

Augmon donated 18% of the proceeds from the 18K collection to a variety of non-profit organisations, a tactic he will revisit with CA Lace.Each CA Lace design features superior craftsmanship, premium embroidery, and the finest quality materials, as well as custom brass aglets engraved with the CA logo. The price range for this collection is between $75 and $375 USD. Eighteen percent of each sale's proceeds will be donated to the Equality Dream Team Foundation.

CA Laces commemorates the launch of the collection for a good cause with special presale pricing beginning on July 18 and continuing through the conclusion of New York Fashion Week on September 13, 2023. All custom laces are anticipated to be delivered within two to three weeks.
