Aman New York Opening Spring 2021

At the crossroads of FIfth Avenue and 57th Street, in 2021, New York will witness one of the most comprehnesive Aman Spa and exclusive branded residences—the first urban Aman Residences worldwide. The opening falls on the same day as the Crown Building’s 100th Anniversary.

The building is in its final stage of renovation which is being headed by the architect Jean-Michel Gathy of Denniston. The hotel will be a host to  83 guestrooms and suites, which start at 750 square feet and each have a functioning fireplace. It will also have 22 private residences, with outdoor terraces and five-story penthouses. All the guests can get in to the three primary venues- dining venues, a jazz club and the nearly 25,000-square-foot Aman Spa.

Manhattan will also get its tastebuds tingling for some authentic omakase washoku cuisine which happens to be Aman’s fine-dining Japanese cuisine restaurant. Nama, will serve sushi and sashimi at its live-cooking counter and on its outdoor terrace. Opposite to this will be The Wine Library, which is Aman New York’s wine cellar and will offer private wine tastings and events. If you’re looking for something more western, then you can also dine at the signature  Italian restaurant- Arva. Arva offers all-day dining both within the restaurant and on the wraparound garden terrace, which offers views of Central Park. The Bar will serve cocktails, as well as craft beers and gin from leading local breweries and distilleries and a global selection of fine wines, the Cigar Bar provides an al fresco terrace.

Bringing its motto of “the fullest expression of the Aman Urban Wellness concept.” life, Aman New York extends over three stories and  the Aman Spa will be the brand’s new flagship Wellness Center in the western hemisphere. Youll find three rooms dedicated strictly to consultation, examination and therapy. Unwind at the Wellness Center with its seven spa treatment suites and two Banya and Hammam Spa Houses—designed for half- and full-day experiences. To give you more opportunity to relax, they also have their own private outdoor relaxation terrace with hot and cold plunge pools.

Other spa facilities will include a boutique and lounge, and a 200-foot indoor swimming pool lined with double daybeds and fire pits. You’ll also see th latest Technogym training equipment at the Aman Fitness Centre. Complimentary to this will be a yoga studio with hydrotherapy facility with saunas, steam rooms, ice fountains and sensory showers. A barber and hair and nail salon will provide professional grooming and further beauty services.

In the cold winters, you’ll also get warmth by the “grand-scale” functioning fireplaces in living and bedroom spaces and many will have outdoor terraces and heated pools. Residence owners will also have a private entrance to the Aman Spa, as well as access to 24/7 lifestyle management and concierge services, restaurant service from the principal dining venues and a lifetime membership to Aman Club.
