San Diego Based Thirty Three Threads Obtains Cache Valley, Utah Based Vooray International

Thirty Three Threads, the parent company of sportswear brands TAVI, ToeSox, and Base 33, has obtained Vooray International, a manufacturer of duffel bags, backpacks, totes, and accessories. Thirty Three Threads' ambition of category expansion prompted the purchase of Vooray.

"Three Three Threads continues its activewear category development with the acquisition of Vooray, a brand that compliments our existing portfolio while introducing a new category that immediately boosts our product offering," stated Barry Buchholtz, CEO of Thirty Three Threads. "Vooray is a high-end brand that caters to the same demographic and creates high-performance and stylish gear. From the start of our discussions with the Vooray team, we could see the synergies and significant growth prospects."

In a statement, Vooray CEO Dan Rigby said, "Our aim in launching the Vooray brand was to position it as the premier bag brand in the athletic industry." "Now that Thirty Three Threads has acquired us, we're looking forward to seeing our reach expand and grow as the two firms merge their teams and systems, as well as enter into the wholesale market for the first time."

TAVI, ToeSox, and Base 33 were recently merged under the direct-to-consumer umbrella website and a new B2B portal that facilitates consumer purchase and communicating. Adding a category from a well-known business with a similar attitude will help drive more visitors to your site.
