Delhi To London By Bus In 70 Days? Get On Board To Know Everything About The Epic 'Bus To London'

The concept of cross-continental travels has always been a pertinent idea amongst travellers. The early 1950’s saw an ever-increasing number of backpackers traveling across Europe to Asia and making their way through what was then popularly known as the ‘Hippie Trail’. Today, with the idea of luxury being so outspread most travellers have left behind the old ways of road-tripping and prefer a more comfortable journey through air travels.

On the contrary, for travellers who still enjoy road-tripping through the most gorgeous locations in the world, this travel company has great news for you. Delhi based tour providers, Adventures Overland is well known for offering road trips and cross-border travels across six continents and is now all set to now launch their new venture.

The ‘Bus to London’ is a 70 day trip across 18 countries, covering 20,000 kms in a luxury bus. This is known to be the very first bus service operating from India to United Kingdom and is ready to hit the road in May 2021.

The Creators

Founders, Sanjay Madan and Tushar Agarwal decided to start their own travel business venture together after creating history themselves. While Agarwal is the first Indian to drive from London to India, Madan grabbed the title of the first Indian to drive to the world’s highest motorable road in Khardung La in a Tata Nano in 2011.

Together, they have been to over 70 countries and are proud travel enthusiasts who went on to create 14 Limca Book records. With this new venture to develop a comfortable and enjoyable travel experience, the two co-founders hope to create a well-structured blueprint for luxury travel. Out of the 70 days, 45 days are set-aside for travels and the other part of the trip for sight-seeing and stay.

The Magic Bus

The Process

The process of planning a venture on such a huge scale was definitely challenging for the founders but they had this coming since 2017 when they organized their very first 50-day trip across India to London in self-driven cars to get familiar with the different routes that they can go about. This trip was organized every year from 2017 till before the pandemic hit and allowed for founders Sanjay and Tushar to get themselves in to planning and actually organizing the venture of their dreams.

The company is offering this trip only to 20 travellers and may add another bus depending on the bookings and availability. The visa, paperwork, documentation and permits are all taken care of by the operators in order to ensure that customers can focus on making the most out of enjoying this luxury experience.

Adventures Overland is all set to schedule the world’s longest bus ride from Delhi to London and are waiting for the new travel guidelines to be announced to start bookings. For the coming year, it will be made mandatory for all travellers to submit a Covid-negative report before getting on board due to safety reasons.
